Matthew C. Boomhower

Matthew is the founder and president of Southern Cross Property Consultants (SCPC) a construction management and land-use consulting firm based in San Diego. Matthew is a California licensed Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee. Matthew holds a license as an Attorney in California and received his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law. In addition to his work with SCPC, he maintains a boutique law practice at Boomhower Law, APC where he focuses on land-use and construction law and serves as outside counsel to closely held businesses.

In 2019 Matthew was appointed to a four-year term on the City of San Diego Planning Commission. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Transportation & Land Development policy sub-committee.
