Chris K. Palmer is a Fine Artist who has specialized in traditional and modern geometric art, ornament, textile design and folding and digital fabrication. 

Chris came to the USP Department in 2022 from UC Berkeley where he was manager of the Digital Fabrication Lab in the College of Environmental Design for 10 years.

In 1995 Chris developed a novel technique for folding fabric and published a book called Shadowfolds about it with his co-author Jeff Rutzky. He was featured in the origami documentary Between the Folds.
