Matthew C. Boomhower, Esq., AIA

Matthew is the founder and president of Southern Cross Property Consultants (SCPC) a construction management and land-use consulting firm based in San Diego.  Matthew is a California licensed Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee.  Matthew holds a license as an Attorney in California and received his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law.    In addition to his work with SCPC, he maintains a boutique law practice at Boomhower Law, APC where he focuses on land-use and construction law and serves as outside counsel to closely held businesses. 

In 2023 Matthew was reappointed to a second four-year term on the City of San Diego Planning Commission.  He currently serves as the Commission's Vice-Chair, a role he was appointed to by the mayor in 2024.
