Academic Advising Options

Virtual Advising Center Make an Appointment Peer Advising

The Virtual Advising Center is the required first step to connecting with your academic advisor.

Appointments provide more detailed information such as individualized quarter by quarter plans, students experiencing academic difficulties, or more complex questions.

Peer Advising is a time to talk with another student in one of our majors. This is a great option if your not sure what questions to ask!

TEA Requests

Some courses may have pre-requisites or restrictions. If you are interested in takig a DUSP Course but do not meet the pre-requisites, you can request pre-authorizations using the Triton Enrollment Authorization (TEA).

Petition Submission

Submissions for courses, double majors, study abroad, and other course-related petitions should be sent to usp@ucsd.edu. Submit the UCSD Undergraduate Petition form to request departmental, college, Summer Session, or University exceptions.

 

Prospective Students

Prospective Students can email usp@ucsd.edu with their academic questions related to our two majors and minors as well as major transfer prep. All questions related to UC San Diego Undergraduate Admissions should be directed UCSD Admissions.
