Architecture @ UCSD

The purpose of Architecture at UC San Diego (ARCH@UCSD) is to create a creative community for undergraduate students who are interested in architecture and urban design. This organization seeks to provide a pre-professional platform for students of different backgrounds to gain hands-on experience and knowledge about the field of architecture/urban design and to act as an inclusive gathering space for those interested in architecture/urban design.

ARCH@UCSD hosts a range of activities including software workshops, socials, site tours, and guest speaker events. Each year, a multi-quarter long project team will redesign a chosen site on campus. Project team members will work together to learn technical skills and to apply critical thinking, creativity, interpersonal and team working skills to pitch ideas to a design jury consisting of architects, faculty, and campus planners.

Students of all majors, years, and experiences are welcome to join the club and/or project team.
