Description
of Organization:
The Fair Housing Council
of San Diego opened its doors in 1989. Opening doors—that
have been illegally closed—is the specialty of this
private, non-profit, and community based organization.
The mission of the council is to eliminate unlawful housing
discrimination in the housing rental, sales, lending,
and property insurance markets on the basis of race, color,
religion, national origin, sex, familial status (children
in family), disability, or other state prohibited basis.
